So I decide to meet CT and maybe others for a ride at Nepaug instead of
getting drunk with my friends at work. OK its 6:00 and no CT, nobody. CT
must be on a hot date with his new gf. (Hey, I'd probably choose the hot
date, too.) Anyways I have no map, been here only once, better stick to
blue, otherwise it'd be a long time before Brick finds me frozen. Hike a
bike over the sand trap jump - better remember that on the way back. Up the
hill just like home.

What, the blue trail is a road??? OK, tipping rock loop singletrack looks
better than the road, this is cool. Here's the granite ice cubes that CT
cleared last time, followed by that sick bridge that no one really rides.

Followed blue with just a little hike-a-bike, to sign for outlook spur
trail. Sounds good, up spur trail some more. OK I cannot bike up that cliff
without the anti-gravity accessories that CT & C&B have patented. I stop and
hike up the rest, cool lookout through the trees, highest point around for
miles.

I turn around because I am really taking it easy- even "Your husband has
been life-star'd to Hartford Hospital" sounds better than "Your husband was
found frozen half-eaten by coyotes after sustaining injuries while mountain
biking alone at night". Back just the way I came, with some accidental side
routes off the blue. Only about 5 miles.
