Ride recap

Saskatoon Saskatewon, Diefenbaker park river ride

Karen, Keenan, Connor, and Jay ride the most extreme trails the city has to offer. Trails consist of easy low road at river and high road (+ 30 to 65') at plains level. Singletrack cuts thru & zig-zags between high and low. The most high tech riding eqip was used. Karen & Jay on rental bikes w/ rigid forks (karens lacks toeclips) weighing in at a light 35 lbs. Connor age 14? on a bmx w/ funky trick wheel things. Keenan on a monster heavyweight mtn bike w/ kickstand estimated at 1/3 of his weight (he tops the scales at 90 lbs with wet ckothes on.) Keenan learns to slide bkwards at high speed while pushing his bike up a ravine. He is also good at the flat back wipeout landing. Also Keenan pulls off some no foot on the pedals serpentine downhills. Connor pulls off some climbs with the one speed wonder trick bike. We find some man made obstacles, a bridge & a downhill 6' drop ramp. Karen rides the bridge. All is well untill Karen crashes and lands on a broken beer bottle. Off to the hospital for 6 stitches in her elbow. Urban riding at its best! Taking the location of the riding into consideration, a 2 bucket rating might be warrented.
