Directions - From Route 93 take rte 127
for about 3.2 miles and there is a nice parking area on your left. Description - Thanks to nemba there is some really nice singletrack here at Franklin Falls. Although it is super buff and generally non-technical, the trail system has some great flow. PMD and I needed a light day as im getting over lyme disease so this was a perfect ride, low on miles, very flat, but fun.. The whale rock trail had a few fun things on it, 2 drops and a cool slickrock section. Seems like a good place for single speed / 29ers too.. Loops - Loop we took worked out great. Use the CNH nemba map for trail names. From parking area we took the gravel trail to road, to moose gully, Bear right on pine snake, right on bee, right on stump, left on middle, quick left on chicken ravine, left on beltline road, 2nd right on lost wall, right on heritage, right on cellar hole, left on beltline, right on chicken ravine, right on old bench, left on bee, right on chicken ravine, left on middle, straight on whaleback, back to car.. |
